What do you love about Madison’s parks and open spaces? What would improve them for future generations? The City of Madison Parks Division is seeking input to guide the 2018-2022 Park and Open Space Plan Update! Madison Parks is hosting five visioning sessions to help define community values that will guide this plan update. The fourth session is scheduled for this evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Alicia Ashman Library, 733 North High Point Road. phone 608-266-4711.

The League of Women Voters of Dane County invites the public to attend an Issues Forum on “Successes and Challenges in High School Education”, tonight at 7 p.m. in the Capitol Lakes Grand Hall, 333 West Dayton Street. Three area high school principals will offer their insights to the state of high schools today. For more information visit the League’s website at www.lwvdanecounty.org

Want to help make sure that every eligible voter will be able to cast a ballot and have that ballot counted? You’re invited to a training session at the City Clerk’s Office to boost voter outreach. The session is scheduled for Thursday, March 2nd from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Clerk’s office at 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. You’ll learn how to answer questions about voter ID, voter registration, absentee voting and the election process. Contact the City Clerk at clerk@cityofmadison.com for more information.
