You’re invited to a free preview of this year’s Wisconsin Film Festival tonight from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. Watch trailers from this year’s films, learn about the ins and outs of the festival and bring your questions about the festival. De-cluttering your home? The Literacy Network is collecting used books to re-sell to raise funds to support its classes and tutors and provide textbooks for free adult programs that help raise literacy. Donated books can be dropped off at the Literacy Network office, 701 Dane Street, preferably between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. Contact 608-244-3911 for guidelines on the types of materials that can be accepted.
