This is the Insurgent Radio Kiosk for Monday, April 10th
It’s today’s Action Calendar!
Do you ever find yourself asking “what?” or feel like people are mumbling? Do you have trouble hearing in noisy places? Audiologist Dr. Melanie Buhr-Lawler will explain hearing loss on Tuesday, April 11th, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. You’ll also learn about hearing aid technology and other treatment options. Free hearing screenings and hearing aid cleanings will be provided. Call 266-6581 for details.
The West Madison Senior Coalition will offer a free lunch for those 60 and over at noon on Tuesday, April 11th, at the Meadowridge Library, 5726 Raymond Road. The suggested minimum donation is $4.00, but not required. Transportation to the meal is available with an additional $1.00 donation. Meal and bus reservations should be made today by calling 608-238-0196.
The long-awaited Madison Public Market is moving forward. The city wants to hear from entrepreneurs, farmers, artists, makers, chefs, bakers, cheese makers, brewers or anyone with a dream of starting or growing a business as part of the Madison Public Market. If you’re interested in contributing to a diverse year-round market that strengthens our food system and builds community, phone 608-267-1968 for information.
