It’s Firefighter Fun Day! Meet your firefighters up close and personal without the emergency! All are invited to visit Fire Station 9, 201 North Midvale Boulevard on Saturday, August 20th from 1 to 4 p.m. for food, face painting, music, games, and much much more! Take a tour of the fire station and meet your friendly neighborhood firefighters! Parking available off-site. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Discover nature’s wild side of Warner Park on a walk on Sunday, August 21st from 1:30 to 3 p.m. with naturalist Alex Singer. Discover the variety of birds, wildlife, trees and plants that make up the park’s ecosystem. Along the way Alex may share a reading or two from John Muir and Aldo Leopold, famous Wisconsin naturalists who once walked these paths and inspired generations to preserve and restore natural areas everywhere.
