Join Madison Police Officer Corey Saffold tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for his presentation on “The Paradox of Being a Black Police Officer in Today’s Society”, at the Pinney Library, 204 Cottage Grove Road. Corey will discuss his experiences as a Black policeman in the wake of highly publicized killings of unarmed African-Americans by police officers. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Humanities Council. Interested in learning about food and nutrition? Join the “Eating Smart–Being Active” program this evening from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m at the Meadowridge Library, 5726 Raymond Road. The free program offers information about nutrition, food safety and spending food dollars wisely. Tonight’s topic is “Celebrate! Eat Smart and Be Active”.
