The film “Forward: Anger Into Action”, documenting the fight against Madison’s deep racial disparities, screens tonight from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. A moderated talk-back session will follow the screening. Call 266-6300 for details.

Want to support the resistance and have a good time doing it? Come to tonight’s “Songs of the Resistance” fundraiser to support the ACLU of Wisconsin starting at 5 p.m. at the High Noon Saloon, 701 East Washington. The Madison Police Department is hosting a “Good Neighbor Night” community event tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Department’s Training Center, 5702 Femrite Drive. Good Neighbor Nights are about becoming involved in our neighbors’ lives and partnering with Madison Police to redefine Neighborhood Watch groups. For information, phone 255-234.

Creative and free outdoor art-making activities for children 3 and over are available tomorrow, June 29th from 9 a.m. to noon at the traveling Summer Art Cart to be located in the Willy Street Park, 1002 Williams Street.
