The Goodman Library, 2222 South Park Street, has partnered with Lifeline Management Systems to offer free cell phones to income eligible individuals today from 1 to 3 p.m. Interested parties should bring a Wisconsin drivers license or state identification card to the library. The library will also offer the opportunity to meet with a representative from Forward Service Corporation to learn how to meet the employment training requirement needed to maintain FoodShare benefits. Get started on learning how to log roll this evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wingra Park, 824 Knickerbocker Street. Presented by Madison Log Rolling, the free session will provide basic training and the opportunity to practice on Lake Wingra. All ages and experience levels are welcome!
