Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to a sun and moon eclipse pre-school storytime on Friday, August 18th from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sequoya Library, 4340 Tokay Boulevard. The session will offer a happy blend of stories, fingerplays and songs to help preschool children develop print and phonologic awareness, vocabulary, letter knowledge and narrative skills. W-O-R-T is looking for a weekly volunteer receptionist, Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon, beginning in September. We’re also looking for a number of fill-in receptionists available on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. AND who have email access.
