Colsac Skiers, Inc., a water ski school based on Lake Wisconsin for children and adults with disabilities, will offer free adaptive water skiing lessons from noon to 4 p.m. today at Brittingham Park, 829 West Washington Avenue. Learn about a new computer program called “LifeMapping” that will give you the tools to save family stories and history at a free workshop from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 24th at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. Family history used to be passed on through personal storytelling, but times have changed. The workshop will be presented by Dean Olsen of UW-Madison’s Department of Geography.
