All are invited to a free screening of “13th,” a 2016 documentary that explores the intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States, tonight, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Marquee Theatre at UW’s Union South, 1308 West Dayton Street. A panel discussion featuring Linda Ketcham, Executive Director of Madison Urban Ministry and Judge Everett Mitchell, Dane County Circuit Court Judge, with moderator Leslie Orrantia, Director of Community Relations from the UW-Madison will follow the screening. Learn about Golda Meir’s journey at a free presentation by Jessica Michna, who portrays Golda Meir, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27th, at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. Learn about Golda’s life in her own words. Jessica Michna, recipient of the Presidential Service Center’s Distinguished Service Award, is widely known for her portrayals of First Ladies and notable women of history.
