The Madison Chapter of Veterans for Peace invites volunteers to assist in setting up over 6000 tombstone replicas in Olbrich Park, 3527 Atwood Avenue, on Saturday, May 26th from 9 a.m. to noon. The display, known as the Memorial Mile, will honor those have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The tombstones are left up for a week, coinciding with the Memorial Day holiday.
