Join Conservation Resource Supervisor Paul Quinlan for a free, family-friendly nature walk through Owen Conservation Park, 6021 Old Sauk Road, tonight from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Owen Conservation Park has been a focus of intensive ecological restoration for Madison Parks. Learn about our efforts and the ecology of the park’s tallgrass prairie and oak woodland habitats. For information, phone 266-4711.
Low cost spayings and neuterings for dogs and cats are available through the Dane County Humane Society and Maddie’s Fund. Various times and prices are available. Caretakers of feral or free-roaming cats can be helped as well. Call 838-0413 extension 103 for details.
