The Wheelchair Recycling Program offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain them new. They have wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area. Visit wrp.org for details.
The Parental Stress line helps prevent child abuse by connecting parents, who are stressed or feeling alone, with caring, helpful volunteers. Training is necessary. Call 608-241-4888 for details.

The Women, Infants and Children Nutrition program offers a wide variety of services, food and nutrition information to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children less than five years of age healthy and strong. For details call 267-1111.

Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in and around the WORT listening area and where other media might not highlight.
