Join The City of Madison Parks Division tonight for a panel discussion on the connection between climate change and Madison’s parkland tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the UW’s Union South, 1308 West Dayton Street. The discussion is part of the community engagement process for the 2018-2022 update to the Parks and Open Space Plan, an important document that guides decision-making about the future of our city parks. The Wisconsin Book Festival presents cultural observer and author Chuck Klosterman tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. His subjects include Breaking Bad, Lou Reed, zombies, KISS, Jimmy Page, Stephen Malkmus, steroids, Mountain Dew, Chinese Democracy and the Cleveland Browns, among others.
