Free one-on-one coaching sessions for general and job-related writing projects are available today from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Goodman South Library, 2222 South Park Street. Appointments for writing assistance may be made today only! Call 608-266-6395. Any type of writing project can be covered, including resumes and cover letters, school assignments, personal letters, applications, forms and newsletters.
A special presentation of Greg Palast’s new film,“ The Best Democracy Money Can Buy: A Tale of Billionaires and Ballot Bandits” is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at the Madison Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. This real life detective story is told with cartoon animations, secret documents, hidden cameras and a little help from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit detectives Ice-T and Richard Belzer, as well as Willie Nelson, Ed Asner, and Robert F.
