Attend a “Planning for College Correctly” interactive workshop tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Pinney Library, 204 Cottage Grove Road. DANEnet’s project “Everyone On Madison” is hosting a series of free computer classes for adults at the Goodman Community Center Loft, 149 Waubesa Street, on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The topic for the Tuesday, November 8th session is “E-mail and Building Your Network”. The classes are drop-in and adults can take one or all of the classes in the series. Class participants that reside in the Darbo-Worthington neighborhood will be eligible for a free desktop computer at the conclusion of the class series. Other participants will be able to purchase a deeply discounted computer for just $75. Childcare and transportation is available by calling the Goodman Community Center at 608-658-5858.
A lunch for seniors will be provided on Tuesday, November 8th at the Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa Street. Doors open at 10 a.m. Read the paper, play games, socialize and enjoy time with friends. 11:30 is the suggested arrival time. Activities follow. Transportation is available through Dane County.
